The most anticipated Apple’s “Scary Fast” event in October 2023 has recently come to an end. The event was held on the evening of Halloween. The Apple Scary Fast event was dedicated to showcasing the latest developments in the company’s Mac line, with a particular emphasis on the new Apple silicon technology for Mac products.
During the event, the brand introduced the updated 24-inch iMac, which now features the latest M3 chip.
The current iteration is claimed to be twice as fast as its predecessor, the M1. The M3 chip is equipped with an eight-core CPU and a GPU that can be configured with up to 10 cores. It can support a maximum of 24GB of RAM and 2TB of storage.
Apple Scary Fast Event improvements include a 30% increase in running times for productivity apps, resulting in faster performance. Additionally, the processing speed for photo editing in Adobe Photoshop is expected to double, enhancing the efficiency of editing tasks. The package also includes support for Wi-Fi 6E enhancements.
Apple has made significant progress in environmental responsibility while keeping the design unchanged, including the 11.5mm thin profile and the same colour options.
The new iMac incorporates a higher percentage of recycled materials, such as 100% recycled aluminium for the stand and recycled components for the internal parts.
M3 iMac Prices
The starting price of the M3 iMac in India is ₹134,900.
MacBook Pro
Apple’s M3 Event showcased the updated MacBook Pro.
In addition to the iMac, the brand also unveiled the upgraded MacBook Pro models featuring M3, M3 Pro, and M3 Max processors.
These models now come with a new “space black” colour option while retaining their previous design and port layout. The M3 Pro boasts a powerful 12-core CPU and an impressive 18-core GPU. On the other hand, the M3 Max takes performance to the next level with a remarkable 16-core CPU and a maximum of 40 cores for its GPU.
These chips prioritize graphics enhancements, making them especially advantageous for gaming and professional applications.
M3 MacBook Pro Price
The starting price for the M3 MacBook Pro 14-inch in India is INR 169900, while the 16-inch model will cost users somewhere around INR 249900.
