The brand plans to launch its first-ever foldable phone during the ‘Open for Everything’ event.
Recently, OnePlus revealed that it is coming up with its foldable phone. The brand has been using social media to provide glimpses of the features and design of its inaugural foldable phone.

According to a source, the expected retail price of the OnePlus Open in India is INR 1,39,999/-. This price is comparatively lower than that of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 in the country. The price of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 is INR 1,64,999/-, which is significantly higher than that of the OnePlus Open.

The OnePlus Open teasers suggest that the upcoming foldable smartphone will come equipped with OxygenOS 13.1, which is based on the latest Android 13 operating system. In addition, the upcoming device is expected to feature a substantial 4,800mAh battery that supports 100W fast charging.

In addition, the newest OnePlus device rumoured to feature a 6.31-inch 2K AMOLED cover display with a high refresh rate of 120Hz. It is expected to have a peak brightness of 2,800 nits and come with “Ceramic Guard” protection for added durability. The primary inner display is an LTPO 3.0, 7.82-inch fluid AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz and a peak brightness of 2,800 nits.
It has been reported that the displays are compatible with Dolby Vision technology.

The size of the Alert Slider button has been increased externally, and its position in the middle frame has been adjusted to enhance convenience for one-handed operation.
