After offering the unlimited calls in just 39 rupees, the Government telecom company BSNL has launched a new plan for prepaid customers.
While competing with Jio, BSNL has rolled out a Recharge pack of Rs 118, with the intention to unlimited voice calls and data benefits with a validity of 28 days.
According to Telecom, the new pack brings the user with 1GB of data, unlimited voice calls. This plan competes with Jio’s Recharge Pack of 98 rupees.
Live Rs 98 for giving 2 GB data and 300 SMS with the validity of 28 days. The user also gets the MyJio app in Jio.
On the other hand BSNL will offer PRBT tune in this pack. After recharging, it will activate for the user automatically. BSNL will not take other charges for this.
Talking about a pack of 118 rupees, it has been implemented in many circles like Chennai, Tamil Nadu, Kolkata. This pack will allow voice calls including roaming networks.
But it will not be available in Mumbai and Delhi.
After 1 GB data usage, the user will be charged with standard charge for data.
To counter Jio’s 98-pack, Airtel and Idea have also taken out plans in the same price. Airtel had upgraded the plan to Rs 93, which gives the user 1 GB data for 28 days.
At the same time, Idea’s Planet 109 is in this list, which provides other benefits to the user with 1 GB data. Voice calls are limited to 250 minutes per day and can be availed by voice service at 1,000 minutes per week. In addition to the plan, the user charged 1 paisa per second call charge.
